Childcare

For participants who like to travel with their children we plan to offer opportunities for childcare. If in need, please contact our Conference Office (icac2022@lin-magdeburg.de) and indicate your needs (number of children, age, gender, language spoken etc.) preferentially before you register for the conference.

Hearing-impaired Participants

If required, we will figure out technical solutions for participants with hearing disabilities that will help them to follow better the talks and discussions within the main conference room. Please contact our Conference Office (icac2022@lin-magdeburg.de) and indicate your needs and technical specifications of your hearing devices preferentially before you register for the conference.

Wheelchair-accessibility

The hotel and its conference rooms and most facilities as well as the locations of our social events are accessible for wheelchairs.

Getting around Magdeburg

At the Welcome Reception, there will be a representative of the City of Magdeburg to inform you about touristic opportunities in the area.

We will also provide several dicount tickets for the Magdeburg Transportation System (ranging from 1-4 days) at our conference desk.

Awards

The organizing committee will provide several financial awards and travel stipends*.

Twenty-one participants have already been selected for a travel stipend - congratulations to all awardees! Further awards (in particular for outstanding posters) will be given during the conference.
